There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

The one on the left (as you see it) thinks the one on the right (as you see it) is the Antichrist (wotever that is) the one on the right Knows this but gives him a hug anyway.

The hypocrisy makes me :sick:
From Catholic church struggles with cost of pope's visit to UK.

At least the one on the left follows his buy-bull and doesn't trim his hair or beard/sideburns. :)

Even worse is the concluding paragraph from the article to which you referred. The cost of the shortfall arising from the Pope's visit of 3.5 million has come from:
The departments for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs;
Communities and Local Government;
Education and International Development also contributed
The first, presumably, because the church is 'involved in climate change'

The second because of 'The Catholic Community'

The third because of the indoctrination of youth

And the fourth because of their influence in continuing the impoverishment of developing nations.

Utterly outrageous :angry:

The only sign of hope is that the church is struggling to find the money.

Did I read it wrong Nick? I thought the contributions from
The departments for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs; Communities and Local Government;
Education and International Development also contributed
Were on top of the Church' contribution?

As I read it the Catholic Church still needs to come up with quite a bit of dosh. No?

Is it just me, or does Cameron look like a smug slightly-fatter version of Stan Laurel in that pic?

Preview button is your friend. :wink:
I notice in quite a few threads that you're not the only one not taking advantage of it, mainly with the quote tags.

I also have learned that lesson the hard (and sometimes embarrassing) way Alan!

But did you enoy it, Alan? Was it of value and comfort? I'd rather know that the blood pressure (and, for all I know, the cholesterol level, too,) of my commie friends had decreased rather than have a running assessment of my dodgy posting abilities.... :wink:

But true, preview and I should really be on first-name terms by now....
