A Scottish traditional game, Adult Hopscotch. Consists of hopping around on one leg whilst taking swigs out of a bottle of Scotch. Last one standing wins! Very similar to the English national game, Topple.

Is Trivial Fur-suit similar to Trivial Purr-suit? It's a game where you ask cats questions in various categories. Turned out it wasn't very popular with cats at all.

Where in the World is San Diego, an offshoot of that popular game, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. Designed for American school children, especially the geographically challenged ones in the bible belt, the game consisted of guessing what countries the major world cities, such as Chicago, London, and Moscow are located. It was removed from the market after a few months as it was deemed to be "too confusing" and "socialistic". It was replaced by the wildly popular Geography of the Bible game.

Chairss - this developed from Mess (qv), continuing this postmodern game's rejection of the formal rules of traditional Chess. However, Chairss adapted the convention of the party game Musical Chairs, so that if two pieces advanced on the same square, the second one to cross into it would gracefully retire from the board. In another variation, Musical Chairss, music was played throughout the game, and pieces caught on the borders between squares when the music ceased would retire.

your description of this game was so graphic that, seriously, I forgot that these are spoofs!

Apparently, there is a once a board game version of Mornington Crescent, but as the result always turned out to be so bleedin' obvious, games only lasted 4 or 5 minutes, which tended to disappoint 2-6 players from age 6 upwards, thus rendering it a commercial failure.

It probably didn't help that it came with 7,604 versions of the rule book, all of them basically unintelligible and missing the glossary to help people find out what the jargon terms used in the rule book actually mean.
