Coffee or tea?

Otherwise known as the Games Room, think of this as a subforum of the social club reserved just for sociable icebreaker games. Beware - they can be addictive!

Would likely poison myself (though I'm a dab hand at hedgerow fruit jams and jellies)

Would you prefer to giv your garden up for flowers and ornamental plants or fruit and veg?

"Are you a pole-vaulter?"

"No, I'm German... but how did you know my name was Walter?"

In answer to your question, Jaywhat, I don't really care, but I'll choose shot-put, as they make me feel slim.

We missed out poor getreal,so I'll repeat:

Probably some of each as opposed to weeds, which it is now.
(Have some tomato plants, but its too hot here for them now and they won't set fruit.)

Curling. I already do the occasional jigsaw, so it wouldn't be new enough.

I prefer not to bother washing it at all. As I don't have a garage the rain does a reasonably good job :D The last time it was washed (before we went on hols in July) we used a power hose at the local garage. I paid, the youngest had fun, I was wet :laughter: . Before then it was 2 years previous when the local fire brigade were having a car wash

I can remember my Granny putting a pig in the bed when I stayed with her. However, more recently when we had the caravan at Dalraddy we had an electric blanket. In winter it was rather nice.

I gather up the leaves and compost them.

Winter, looking forward to the snow? Or dreading it?

Postman doesn't come to my door, we have an american style mail box on the gate and he deposits the mail there. They refuse to come in because of the dogs. My older dog could be a bit intimidating with strangers (when I mentioned this to the vet and said I was a bit worried that he was so very wary of people he didn't know-particularly men-she replied that she thought that was an asset given where I stay). He's old now, and isn't outside much. Just goes out to pee. The young dog is totally mental and wouldn't hurt a fly, but he makes a horrible din if anyone comes near the gate. Phew! Sorry to have gone on!

Lying in bed listening to winter wind and rain at the windows, or lying watching the summer breeze ruffle the curtains at the open window?

Lying in bed listening to the wind and rain, much as it is tonight! If it's warm and sunny I want to be out in it!

Healthy or unhealthy?

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?
