Shamelessly advertising my YouTube...
Don't think there's a rule against this, perhaps it infringes "no advertising" but then it's not a commercial thing, honest!
Anyway, here's my humble Channel of guitarry stuff: www.youtube.co.uk/user/joineecleary
The Postman Pat video is my fave. Or "Tamacun with Mike Roca-Terry."
New addition of Riff of the Month should be up tomorrow, or maybe Friday, but Thursdays are the best day for uploading. Apparentely. Oh yeah, if you have the time to comment on a video be honest! There's far too many overly nice people on the YouTube.
Thank you, TH

I'll have a listen tomorrow.

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:
1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Liked the Postman Pat riff. Still needs practice, obviously.
Have you tried capoing it up a step? I find the closer frets and lower action makes fingering a new piece a lot easier.

Thanks, thanks, and thanks.
Not sure if I want to re-record that... if I did it live somewhere then maybe.
Interestingly it's meant to be capoed at the first fret - I was just lazy. But now I have a new capo. Huzzah!seyorni wrote:Liked the Postman Pat riff. Still needs practice, obviously.

Oh, thanks for that, Tea. Loved Tamacun. That's the sort of guitar music I love best, and you did a very good job of it.
You don't know any pieces by Atahualpa Yupanqui or Eduardo Falú by any chance, do you?

Not heard of them! I'll look them up and if I think it's do-able, perhaps I'll do a video. I like dedicating videos to people, so if I did one, you'd get dibs on the dedication, as you recommended it.Emma Woolgatherer wrote:You don't know any pieces by Atahualpa Yupanqui or Eduardo Falú by any chance, do you?

Tea,
I don't think people are too honest; I think you're really that good! Wish I'd started playing guitar about 20 years ago. Ah well, it's never too late for me to irritate the neighbours with my rendition of O'er the Hills and Far Away.

Thanks for the encouragement! I am perservering. In fact, I've learned to play Bob Dylan's Knockin' on Heaven's Door (how ironic is that?!) with the actual song playing. Yay!Lifelinking wrote:I very much liked hearing you play tea_ismynewjesus. (Marian - keep playing)

Just listened to the Tamacun one about ten times whilst stuck here at work. Fantastic stuff. Never heard the piece before but I think I must try to purchase some of that kind of music whatever it is. Spanish?
Anyway - cheers for livening up my evening.
