Well, there are 6 letters remaining,
You missed out an R and an E, eight letters.
I'm no wiser though, in fact I think the third R makes it more difficult.

Oh, I've got it now!

(I'm really slow sometimes - even with getreal's hint! Duhhhh! :laughter: )

Edit: "Becca" a "valid name" Al? Like Chaz? Dez? etc.

Mind you with all these funny new ones - Shaznay, Duwayne (BTW is that pronounced "Dooowayne" or what?)

I think Bouncy Knowles is the best one. 'Bouncy' - what a great name.

Birdcrazy because I am an ornithology person, and I have a mental illness that is thankfully well controlled. I should have chosen Mad Ornithologist, lol.

I wish I had a clever story behind this name, it evolved from kozmic_muffin over 11 years ago and sort of stuck, I guess it just fits into my obscure view of things and stuff...I like life outside of the 'box' it's much more fun and interesting. (ghaaaaa...i LOVE popcorn!)

I just started songwriting and I wanted a unique name as my normal name is too boring to be marketable so I used my initials of r 'n' s to create Arraness which I now also use on the web as a username as it's easy to remember.

I used to be a "Jesus-freak" and tea has replaced that gap. Simples!

My tea facts:
1) I usually take my tea with no milk and a tiny bit of sugar.
2) A lady called Rachel who lives in Minessota is my tea-lady i.e. she sends me interesting teabags and cards. My favourite one from her is a pumpkin-spiced tea.

My user name is my own. When you get my age, you require a simple and easy lifestyle. I was born in Santa Monica and spent my youth on the sand and ocean. Sandy was easily understood.

Welcome Teech. Do you teach Shakespeare? Do I recognize the Malvolio costume?

Hi Ludite, who was it that said "Enoch will make them and Enoch will break them" I can remember the quote from the Luddites but can't remember where it came from.

According to the Marsden History Group, brothers James and Enoch Taylor were smiths in Marsden who 'developed and made a cropping machine that could do the work of 10 hand-croppers. The mill owners in the Marsden area were installing these machines. Enoch Taylor also made sledgehammers, which were called "Enochs", so the Luddites would quip, "Enoch made them, and Enoch shall break them."'

Thanks Emma, it all came back to me when I read your stuff. The Industrial Revolution was also a large part of our O.Level corriculum(sp.?), in 1958. Coming from West Yorkshire it was part of my inheritance. Come to think of it wasn't there a book called Inheritance about the subject. I can't remember the author's name but it was a woman. Phillis ?? Ah yes, Phillis Bentley, it is all coming back to me now. For personalities and descriptions of Yorkshire, I preferred The Crowthers of Bankdam, what you liked?

I've been reading through this thread and am wondering where all these people have gone.
