Seconded OR - it's fab!

We've got NO SNOW in St. Andrews and although it periodically does snow, none of it is lying which is just rubbish. Too much salt in the air someone said.......

997,810 (yippee - I know how to do colour now too!)

Now can someone explain how to create a URL link without just pasting it directly onto the post? Mine always end up really long. Ta!

If you hover over the URL button it actually tells you in the Tips: line, but here is a demo (obviously you need to substitute the round brackets for square ones):

(url=http://www.horniman.ac.uk/darwin/index.html)Horniman Darwin page!(/url)

P.S. If anyone could check the page above with any browser other than IE7 to make sure it works, I'd really appreciate it!

I can't believe I'd never noticed the colour palette on the right. My only explanation - part from me being a tube - is that is where annoying ads are so often.

And I learnt something else today (apart from don't park next to the snow piled kerb and expect to open your door). Emoticons from other places. Thanks Alan C Image

I'm feeling rather blurry this morning...

I recently installed Photoshop Elements, I might try a few other avatars if I do something I like. How I miss full photoshop...

It's been a good day. I spent periods shovelling snow off the drive. It's about fourteen inches deep and drifted even deeper in places so it takes a bit of shovelling. I also sorted the bird food so the robin that shelters in the woodstore has its own supply and looks much happier. The past couple of days it has been sitting on a log puffed up like a tennis ball and looking totally miserable but it now has its own fatball and supply of seed that the other birds haven't found yet.

I also fraternised with the neighbours which was good, and spent a couple of hours on the phone to the boys and also my brother and his wife. :)

Ooops, numbers mixed up, and not a faint fishy breath of a penguin.

I do think we are really at
997,798 now, including this post.

But I may be wrong, do check for yourself if you're as sad as I am to do so anyway

You're right Fia, the problem is, some folk only read the last post, and if a mistake has been made two or three posts earlier, it's missed.
I think we are now on.

Mind you, England were rubbish, and I fear this will be their only victory n the 6 Nations. The game was pretty dreadful. The France/Ireland was much better. Even Wales/Scotland was not a bad match, though the result was not as desired. The 2 major injuries were quite something. I'm sure the first was unconscious before he his the ground! Ouch!

Talking of wild-life, Lewis, our family is fiercely divided over footprints seen in the snow. It's badgers 2, deer 1 (that's me!) at the moment, but I'm sure I'm right :D We do see both of them in the garden, so either is possible.

Minus sixteen Celsius on the thermometer on the end of the shed this morning. Will put out hot water for the birds and also sort out the feeder at the front of the house which is full of snow.
