Not really (but thanks :laughter: ); the "keeping in the loop" and "message" clues led me to "notification" (which had a requisite number of letters); took me ages to descramble the ""reply topic" bit, though, because I kept 'seeing' "price" and "topper".

Sorry but I've had to edit this post twice. First I thought my anagram was wrong so changed it to add a letter. Then I realised my original anagram was right but my letter count was wrong so I changed it again. I hope it's right this time.
