Yup, quite colder but those clouds are not scudding by like racehorses any more.
MetMan says cloudy bright so I might wrap up warm and brave the rigours of Gloucester.

Yes, true, even filtered through the clouds that are now dropping even more wet stuff than they were when last I wrote here!

Hic!April 23 – In recognition of his services, Edward III of England grants the English writer Geoffrey Chaucer a gallon of wine a day for the rest of his life.

Nothing to do with the number but . . .
Why does a simple seeming meal of a couple of tortilla wraps (wraps bought, ingredients home cooked) have to generate a pile of washing up like three frying pans, two chopping boards and knives and a plate? Suppose I am lucky it was finger food and there is no dirty table cutlery! I can see why prepared shop food is so popular. For some.
Was nice though.

What's wrong with a bit of cheddar and a crust of fresh bread - perhaps with a little chutney. You don't have to be a ploughman.

Cheddar is one of my very occasional treats - skinny chicken bit better for my ticker but needs variations to make it interesting. Apart from that I had the tortillas left over from a previous time when eating with a friend - needed using up, hate throwing good food away.
Chuck in some home made tomato salsa with sweet chillis and slices of large, open mushroom and - mmmmm!
Then there's the washing up . . .
