Latest post of the previous page:

If by 'tipple' one means an alcoholic beverage then I am out of it, having given up a few years ago.
I do have a regular Blue Becks which is a very nice alc-free lager.

At the moment its Ben & Jerry's peanut and raspberry but I keep finding new favourites by Ben & Jerry.

What is your favourite pudding? (If ice cream please specify).

Yes. I explain patiently that the hole going in is larger than the hole coming out, so that there is an inevitable build-up in between...

Are you following the Soccer World Cup? And does it not piss you off that Chile V Australia is shown live, but the rugby international (a proper game) between England and the All Blacks is confined to Sky? Grrr! :cross:

It pisses me off that (any) sport gets as much broadcast time as it does. But then, I never was a sporty type in terms of teams or heroes etc. Preferred caving or climbing for my physical activities when able.

Same.

Reality TV shows. I used to find the occasional one quite novel and interesting but now it seems that the tv channels are jam packed with them and they are turning some rather uninteresting people into celebrities.

Same question.

I think that's "pseudo-celebrities". I would be insulted to be described as a "celebrity"

Noisy motorbikes - though I was guilty of ownership of one about, oh, 50 years ago! Then I grew up. Slowly but . . .

How many typing/spelling errors, on average, do you make per post (I made six in this sentence alone!)

Depends how long it is and how deep in thought I am. Also whether it contains words like 'inot' and 'form'.

And you?

Quite a few, but that's because I have bears' paws for hands.... :)

Do you think "glamping" is for sissies, or just a more civilised way of enjoying the great outdoors?

Sissies, all. I have camped near RV folks who never once came out of the thing. Many keep their bloody power generator going day and night. God forbid they could not watch TV and do the laundry. Why don't they just stay in a hotel and order room service? It appears I could be answering the "What pisses you off?" question .LOL

Going anywhere exciting this summer?

 Although I like my camping comforts like an airbed and proper pillow, I have no desire to exchange one box for a smaller metal one in which to take zilch interest in the great blooming outdoors.

Fia I am soooo jealous. My dream was always to go trekking on Skye. My great-great-grandmother was from Skye

My summer plans are very simple this year (as usual). I will drive into the mountains to hike and picnic, enjoy the Calgary Stampede parade and free breakfasts, go down to the Stampede ground to mingle with 100,000 of my dearest friends and generally lay about drinking wine!

Same question again.
