The nearest I get to that, Dave, is sardines on toast.
Without the orange? A little lime juice goes well with that though!

A bad year for the Scots. Edward I took Stirling Castle, the last stronghold of the realm.
I don't drink my gin with lime these days if I can help it. I drink Caorunn (pronounced Koorn, it means Rowan Tree) with slices of crisp aromatic red apple and Fever Tree tonic. Expensive but yummy. I like lime marmalade.
Carpe diem. Savour every moment.

1306 - and I have just had some on my morning toast. It is made from Seville oranges by Wilkin & Sons of Tiptree, Essex, UK and is thick cut and nearly 50% fruit.

Excluding the carnivorous varieties of slug (they exist) since they eat 100% plant matter could they not be considered vegetables?

Well, strictly cannibals only eat other members of their own species, not members of their "kingdom".
But then, these days who knows what meat animals are fed when there are things like "mad cow disease" and scrapie about!!!

I was about to claim the same until I realised that free range chickens are omnivores - they eat worms and small frogs etc.

And fish eat fish. But I can't think of many other carnivores that are farmed. Feeding meat to produce meat is probably not economically efficient.
But 'you are what you eat' means a cannibal who only ate vegetarians would be a vegetarian.
