I thought I might as well introduce you all to someone who is a humanist and a very able ethicist. He is still active, but in 1965-6 he was unlucky enough to be saddled with trying to teach me Logic in the Oxford PPE prelims course. (Though I am still very interested in the subject I struggled to translate this into good exam results.) Anyway, it's someone I once knew and still admire
