Guy Fawkes is known by many in the U.S. Many of the Scientology protesters a couple of years ago wore Guy Fawkes masks. The excellent film, "V for Vendetta" introduced the Guy Fawkes mask to a large audience, although I don't remember it explaining the meaning behind it.Alan C wrote:

Ah, *sigh*. Thats a phrase I heard so often growing up and living in the West of Scotland. In the context of the sectarian divide, against a background of deep rooted anti catholic sentiment and anti Irish racism.
