Tomorrow night is burn a Catholic night
As there are more non Catholics in the world, we could wipe the buggers out in one fell swoop

Edit.
Our non UK members may need to google Guy Fawkes.

Y'know, there are times when I think old Guy and his mates didn't have such a bad idea after all . . .

It was just his motives that were different.

Trouble is; if somebody was to succeed today where Guy Fawkes failed in 1605, they would only take out about a quarter of the thieving tw*ts, cos that's all that turn up on any given day.
Money for nowt! And expenses to boot. :cross:

Hmmm... Guy Fawkes' objective was to kill the King, not MP's, and anyway the gunpowder was under the House of Lords. Judging by some of the comments on this forum, maybe he wasn't such a bad chap after all.....

Guy Fawkes is known by many in the U.S. Many of the Scientology protesters a couple of years ago wore Guy Fawkes masks. The excellent film, "V for Vendetta" introduced the Guy Fawkes mask to a large audience, although I don't remember it explaining the meaning behind it.

I'm not surprised. A celebration of anti-catholicism can cause offence.

Ah, *sigh*. Thats a phrase I heard so often growing up and living in the West of Scotland. In the context of the sectarian divide, against a background of deep rooted anti catholic sentiment and anti Irish racism.

Anyhoo, back to this important thread.
