Dogs are cruel, Cats are cool
Re: Dogs are cruel, Cats are cool

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:
1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Blimey, the confusion seems little different from that which a human might show!

Enjoyed that, Alan When one considers how much fun wee humans have with cardboard boxes - especially that stage where the pressie is irrelevant as the box is so much more fun - perhaps us bigger humans can learn from big cats and little humans
And I enjoyed this today:

Hands down the best photo ever taken at a dog show.

Cat saves boy from dog.
Well, this one lives up to the thread title.
Have to assume there three security cams on one house or on adjacent houses.

Re: Dogs are cruel, Cats are cool
Both dogs and cats can be cruel. I am a cat person, love them, absolutely. But they catch critters and torment them, cruelly, without mercy. Dogs chase other critters based only on the criterion that the critter run from the dog and not fight back. If they catch it, they will chew it to death. That's cruel too. But I also love dogs.
So much for the basis of this group.
I still prefer cats, and have had my two for 14 years.

Hi, David! Welcome to TH! We love seeing new members and some, like Athena will be delighted to see another cat person joining. This is a haven of (mainly) civilised discussion on Humanism and philosophy along with some fun. We all hope you like it. There's an introductions thread here. Why not go there and tell us a little about yourself?
Carpe diem. Savour every moment.

On Twitter:
Nobody ever asked "Who let the cats out?" in a song, since the answer's obvious: the same person who let them back in again 2 minutes later.

Re: Dogs are cruel, Cats are cool
I was down in Aberdeen a few weeks ago to pick up another stray pup from Mrs Murray' stray dog and cat home
Meet Mrs McGhee (now shortened to Missy) A Boxer X Staffie aged around 10 months. Captions with the photos.
Shaged out after 9 hours walking the streets of Aberdeen followed by 15 hours on the boat North to Shetland.
Coming round.
Making friends.
After a hard day in the garden.
She nicked the dogs duvet and he just said.....Wotever.
Calm down dear, it's just the postman
They've ploughed up the garden, chasing each other at breakneck speed but I don't care, they're both happy.
