There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Today is "the first day of summer" and "midsummer's day". How long does that make summer?

Also a full moon, but by coincidence of course. There is no connection - or is there?

As for the summer solstice, that is only so in the northern hemisphere. I would not call it summer in Oz!

Hmm, just keep checking the back of hour hands for hair growth and don't try nibbling your bottom lip - just in case!

Thanks for your helpful reply even if I do not understand whether it is sarcastic or just silly or lovingly humourous :hilarity:

And the same to you and Nina from a grey and damp solstice day in London.

I am a thinking Humanist and glad to share sincere wishes with all fellow thinkers. Those not thinking? Well, they deserve our help.

So now those of us in the northern hemisphere can look forward to a bit more daylight each day and a little less darkness, day by day. Hoorah!
