Latest post of the previous page:

Felicia,
Thanks a lot for this. I'm intrigued. I will certainly ponder this in more detail when I have a bit more time, and may be back in touch, if it's ok. I am deeply curious about my recurring dream, but it no longer distresses me. Well, not in my conscious state anyway.

I had an extremely vivid dream last night about my mum. Mum died 4 years ago, and we were very very close. I dreamt that she was alive and things were much the same as they were before she died. It was almost as if I was stepping back in time.
Although I feel a bit wrung out this morning, I've taken comfort from the fact that I re-lived some quality time with my mum, albeit in a vivid dream. It was very real indeed.

Just looked in on this thread. Thank you all for posting.

As a youngster I had a recurring dream. I am standing in the living room of the flat I grew up in, and looking out of the living room window, to the familiar landscape and street scene outside. There is a hill right opposite where we stay, where we used to walk our dog, but then they built houses. There is the crystal vase on the window ledge, the same curtains, the same wallpaper. Behind the hill there is a huge flash. Then a terrible unfolding of a mushroom cloud.

OK, Alan, I tried it. Last night I had this lovely dream that I was floating on air round a luxurious department store and could help myself to whatever I wanted without paying for it. (I've had this dream a few times.)

This is the interpretation the site offered me:

Words like air: Success. Happiness.

Words like store: Abundance. Options. Variety.Seeking for new choices.
Umm....great.

Lifelinking...That is a scarey one!

I have several reoccuring dreams...I don't have time to write them all down...but one cool thing is when they intertwine! My flood dream will combine with my house dream.... my skiing dream will combine with my amusment park dream...and the fish..... "The Fish" dream is always a part of the house dream...but the house dream doesn't always include the fish.
Oh and I often dream that I am back working for the ranch...but in a funky, dark world. They evolve, too.... I remember my dreams almost every night.

Here is a dream I had a few times recently including last night.

I am looking for something important. What the something is varies: sometimes it's treasure, sometimes documents. I am on like a treasure hunt following clues and every time I follow a clue I think this is the one that will lead me to the treasure and I feel happy and excited but when I arrive at the right place, all I find is another clue. But I'm not disappointed because I now think that this clue has to be the last clue....

Any ideas on interpretation?

Hi Curtains

Ideas: what are your associations to this treasure hunt? What does it remind you of? Where does it take place? Are you alone in it? Are there any details about the places you search?

It's the associations to the details in a dream that will give the emotional core to it... is it always exactly the same from night to night?

A few places to start only: unravelling a dream can take a long time.

Hello, Felicia.

They're hard questions because I don't really remember the details of the dream, just the general outline. I think that it usually takes place in rural Brazil, where I come from and that usually my mother and sometimes other family members are in the dream. Sometimes the hunt is inside a big mansion, sometimes it's outside. Last night something new happened, which was that Eva Longoria was my companion in the dream.

(In case you don't know her, she is a beautiful actress in Desperate Housewives and I have a bit of crush on her!)

Next time I have it I will try harder to remember the details when I wake up.

I had one where I was in place like Morocco or Marakesh and was being bathed in a shallow pool there buy a black woman! She washed me completely even my anus!!!! Meanwhile in the corner of the pool a hippo stood watching. Then she towelled me off and we both rode away on a couple of camals.

Weird stuff, no idea what it meant. But I did submit to getting washed thoroughly, I wasn't going to argue with her as she had really long nails.

Last night I had a dream that I've never had before. I found God.

I was in a synagogue having the Christian faith explained to me by a rabbi and suddenly it all made perfect sense. I wondered how I would persuade my husband but decided that would be impossible and that I would have to keep my new-found faith secret or he'd probably divorce me.
