This is not spam, honest. Even though I have posted it on several boards...
My good and talented friend and ex-housemate Ed is in the running for a $10,000 prize for making a video. He wrote a song about a cow in a tree and animated it in Flash, using a character he invented called Mort the Ostrich. (You might recognise it if any of you are b3tans. If you don't know what a b3tan is, don't worry.)
Ed's really close to winning the money. He would massively appreciate it if you would go to this website:
http://www.clipstar.com
and register for an account, and then vote for his video:
http://www.clipstar.com/videopage.jsf?video=3_293_17
The number of votes is relatively small, so a few can make a big difference! Plus the guy he's competing with appears to have ramped up the number of votes recently, so he's probably getting people to do the same thing.
I know it's a pain registering for an account, but it only takes a minute. Many thanks in advance!
Polls close on the 31st at 9am, so please vote soon! Thanks.

Well... if any of you voted, Ed thanks you very much because he won!
It seems that the second place winner had no hard feelings:
"Well looks like you won. I'm hapy to say I came in second place with 100% legitimate votes... more than I can say for this clip"
Ouch.
Thanks again guys.

Yeah, he's done lots of good stuff. Unfortunately the page is down right now (the University of Nottingham finally deleted his web space, so he has to find somewhere else... at least he can afford it now!) otherwise I'd link you to it.
