Convicted child abuse priest blogging from jail

#1 Post by Skyfrog » November 24th, 2011, 12:01 pm

http://catholicinternetwatch.blogspot.c ... s-his.html

In 1994, Father Gordon MacRae was convicted of sexually molesting boys and sentenced to 33+ years in prison. Now, with the help of supporters, he is running an internet campaign accusing his victims of lying in order to get compensation and arguing most of those coming forward with abuse allegations are motivated by money. He even threatens to publicly reveal the identitites of those he judges to have made false allegations against priests. Should he be allowed to get away with this?

One of the worrying things is just how many Catholics (including prominent ones) seem to be rallying so enthusiastically to his cause. They have even set up a "virtual chapel" for him...

Why dig this up from last November if you are not going to say anything?
