Gone, but not forgotten A-Z

Otherwise known as the Games Room, think of this as a subforum of the social club reserved just for sociable icebreaker games. Beware - they can be addictive!

Jackson, Val.

I miss Val so much.
We met on the BHA Celebrants group and I was so touched she contacted me when contemplating moving north. I remember: opening the door to her and being able to do nothing but hug her and both of us crying; her paying for us to go to a BHA Celebrants conference and the stories she shared with my Mum where we stayed enroute; her care for her friends so she would drive many miles to support one in difficulty; how she included her lovely granddaughter in what she was doing; how she would always have time for support and great advice on the phone even in her dying; her random cards, thoughtful gifts and posts; the light of love in her eyes when she found love again so had to learn how to text...

Val certainly didn't have the best start in life. But she sure made the most of it. Many of us here are so much richer for knowing her will and carry her in our hearts, minds and actions.

Nightingale, Florence.

A leading light in the develpment of nursing as a profession. But not the only one. Just the best known.

Died 1999 but never forgotten. He was my father, Eric Bosley, incorrectly entered in the 1911 Census!
