Prequels that never made it

Otherwise known as the Games Room, think of this as a subforum of the social club reserved just for sociable icebreaker games. Beware - they can be addictive!

I was thinking more along the lines of "One taxied down the runway fairly close to the cuckoo's nest"

Cheers Dave.

Actually, if you are like me, I'd bet your life is so full, you have to have this outlet to let off some steam and have a laugh!

Or, more likely, you use it as an escape from the garbage she/he watches on TV. Case in point, right now? DIY SOS.
Other examples? Come Dine With Me. Wife Swap. How Clean is Your House. All based on finding some weirdos and making "entertainment" out of them.

Actually, being retired and single, gardenless, not having a device capable of receiving a TV signal by any form of connection (careful wording there) and no TV licence (though enough kit to watch on any kind of media and download anything available on the Internet that is not a live broadcast (pause for breath)) I have a lot of time on my hands. I can only read for about an hour or so at a time (even with new specs) so I take a break and looksee what is going on.

I do have friends - mostly daytime ones though, but do go out for the occasional meal or share the occasional bottle of vino with one of them.

But I enjoy this forum and the people I find here - I know no humanists in the area. And few others that share my sense of humour.
