There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Our local curry house serves a nice dish, Takka Masala.

It's like Tikka Masala...

Surley, Nick, that should be "tarka masala"?

Probably, getreal, but it wouldn't be a proper curry house if the menu was spelt correctly, would it?

How's the weather? Sunny here in Doncaster at the moment but it's been horribly rainy for a couple of weeks now.

Many Happy Returns, Ninny :kiss:

Lewist said, a good few days ago, but I've only just returned from camping just up the road from him:
I had a short but very pleasant coffee gathering with Fia this morning.
It was grand to meet you, and many thanks to your directions we saw fledgling osprey chicks. Coffee with you and chicks delightful :D

That's great, Fia! I prefer the little and less well known things. You can go and pay the RSPB to see the Loch Garten ospreys but there are lots of others if you know where they are.

Also, Happy Birthday a day late for Ninny! :party: I hope you had a really good day.
Carpe diem. Savour every moment.

Being 64 is a good excuse for forgetting to put a number on this countdown thread - like 997,400

Is Jaywhat still sending you Valentines, Birthday greetings, bottle of wine, Ninny?

Guess the cottage on the Isle of Wight was just too dear :D

997,397Happy Saturday and hello all!

I've been working today, we had a stand at Newtonmore Highland Games; tough working on a Saturday, but lots of people do worse.
Carpe diem. Savour every moment.

Completely the wrong time of year, I know, but how about a Christmas card with the strap-line "Reason's Greetings" :D

I like that!

Hi, Fia!
Valentines: no, he's an atheist;
birthday greetings: yes, if I remind him;
bottles of wine: sadly no, drink gave us up.

Want to know how old he's going to be next month? :hilarity:
