Eight months chokey for this?

Breach of the peace maybe, unwise, probably, but eight months and a criminal record...? Outrageous.

Any thoughts?

I agree. These weirdos need a good talking to and a bit of educating. I also feel that people from the Jewish community should speak up against such sentences.
