Lisa Jardine

Lisa Jardine has died, a sad loss.

Whilst she was seemingly not a declared humanist I always felt a resonance with her stance on life.

Indeed. It wasn't that long ago that I found out she was Jacob Bronowski's daughter.

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

I was a Bronowski fan even before "The Ascent of Man." I still have a copy of both the book and the series on DVD.

Lisa spoke once of her childhood and the discussions the family had; with those parents and that "grooming" one is not surprised at her qualities and ethos.

Also her ability, like her father, to put over complex ideas and philosophies in terms most can understand.
