There was some good advice in there.

It is very hard to counter the god-did-it of the religionistas, that's just so easy for kids who do not want to think difficult things out.

I suspect this to be a "meta-spot" to induce people to subscribe to "metafilter".

For me the scary bit is that she is 14.
One response to the 'god started us off with just two people' is to ask if we are therefore the products of incest.

What's sad is that this is a mind closed. She will not be open to learning what is outside of the bible thumbing teachings. And she will influence others in this way - friends and her own children some day. Ignorance is contagious.
