Sort of science, weather in the Grand Canyon when cold air is trapped under warm.

But I think excellent cinematography or videopgrahy.

Stunning!

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Well, er, is it static that keeps them from being, er, static?

Just remembered, working part time in a factory where expanded polystyrene beads were made. If they escaped the aeration chamber, more like a vacuum chamber, ('cos some berk of a novice opened the door before they got sprayed with anti-static) (yeah, OK, I was that novice) the damn things "danced" on, off and into everything. Including noses, eyes, mouths and ears, shirts . . .!

They were all at the same charge as the chamber and did their best to get anywhere else.

At the current rate of human population growth (1.11%), we would use up ALL the particles in the Universe in just 8,604 years!

Interesting and ingenious, but the explanation of how it works is wrong. When a gas is compressed adiabatically, its temperature rises, not falls. When you purse your lips and blow on your hand, it feels cooler mostly because the increased velocity of air causes localised "wind chill".

Interesting. On the FB thread where this was shared, there were several attempts to explain it, but it certainly isn't at all clear. But the video clearly made the claim that it reduced the temperature by 5 degrees, which wouldn't happen if it was just wind chill.

That's a cool way to cool the room! Not sure about the mechanism of action though.

I wasn't aware Richard had done that. Will watch later. Have you read his book, The Real Secrets of Alternative Medicine?

Getting through it. It's self-published and could do with some professional editing, it's occasionally repetitive, but it's a useful reference book for the history of all sorts of altmed nonsense. I can only admire his perseverance to put it all together and the amount of work required!
