Periodic Table of Irrational Nonsense

#1 Post by jdc » July 17th, 2010, 1:36 pm

Wasn't sure whether to put this in comedy club or here, but Crispian Jago has made something: A Periodic Table of Irrational Nonsense.

(Note for the easily offended: contains some fairly mild swearing and a large amount of mockery.)

Thanks for the link, jdc, that is very clever.

I was slightly disappointed to see Taoism with a fairly high Woo Number, I like some of the Taoist sayings, but there yer go!

Periodic tables? A diary entry every 28ish days? The one you dig out for big dinners? *tries but fails to remember the premise of the layout of periodic tables.... And sadly, despite a big screen, my poor old eyes couldn't make as much of it as I'd have liked. But it would be a jolly good starting point for a debate in school RMPS lessons...

Now - by popular demand - available on a T-shirt!

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

It doesn't look any good on T-Shirt. You have no idea what the design is about unless you spend some time examining it closely.

If you were walking in the street wearing one of these T-shirts, it wouldn't be putting any message across at all.

Yeah, this one's much simpler. Crispian's one would be much better as a poster.

I couldn't understand the point made by this other one until I looked at the site's homepage and saw what it was about.

Can't seem to access that site GK - getting "Problem loading page" error.
