Re: In or out?

".. I think that insistence that the EU bears no responsibility for Brexit would be a mistake." I know you haven't 'made that claim' (that the EU bears no responsibility for Brexit). Your response to this on the previous page was that it wasn’t relevant, so I explained the relevance. Obviously many ...

Re: In or out?

I'm finding it difficult to tell whether there's misunderstanding here and just how much we're talking at cross-purposes. I see the situation as a simple one: during the referendum campaign, we were told that if we voted to leave the EU, everything would be rosy and we'd be better off. Where's the ...

To clarify further: what makes the USA successful? I think the two main ingredients are a common language ...

Re: In or out?

That may be so (although I do doubt some of it) but it is irrelevant to Brexit: no one claimed the EU was perfect or couldn't be improved, but what were all told by the Brexiters in the run-up to the referendum was that the UK would be better off outside the EU rather than in it. Not a jot of evide...

Misreading the evidence?

(Sources given in case they are required). Google “expanding Universe” and one might find: The American astronomer Edwin Hubble made the observations in 1925 and was the first to prove that the universe is expanding. He proved that there is a direct relationship between the speeds of distant galaxie...

I can't see the point of the rebranding. What was the reason for it again? What's the benefit or improvement?

Satan did it

“I made that decision based on Satan playing games with me, and making me feel like I was prideful and unable to go to family members for help,” Logan August said. The Commission’s calculations include outstanding spending promises made by Britain during its EU membership; contributions to the pension schemes for EU officials, and other liabilities, such as bailout loans to Ireland.
