Unfortunately, FB sometimes exposes friends' views you wish you remained blissfully unaware of.

Re: Small a for All

Wow! You learn the most amazing things on this forum! I have emailed them fro more information. I particularly want to know if they have any religious affiliations as some of the text I have read about them references "sisters" and priests. However, this appears to be only in relation to the African...

If you listen to the media-including the "moderate media" you would be forgiven for thinking these were two different stories.

Migrants via the Tunnel

i had a look to see if this has already been raised, but I couldn't find anything. Please feel free to delete or merge if there is already a thread on the subject. I am horrified at the plight of the migrants attempting to enter the UK via the tunnel. I am also sickened by the lack of any sense of u...

I'm not one for trite sayings-in fact I really hate them- and I don't like meaningless jabber about " the meaning of life", but this truly touched me. Until I embraced humanism, I was terri...

Re: Dogs are cruel, Cats are cool

Just wanted to share my overjoyedness.

Today my very dog reactive dog achieved his Kennel Club Silver Good Citizen award.

He's still not perfect and a lot of it was luck (there weren't a lot of other dogs around) but I think we may have made progress!

I will see if I can post a picture of him.

Re: Alice and Bob go Shopping

In theory, it sounds fine. In practice, doing work for the LA requires police record checks and depending on how big the job would be, compliance with EU contracting standards. What happens if the work were carried out I effectively? There would have to be some form of examination of the work done. ...

The above named "doctor" started an alternative therapy practice in our little town a couple of years ago. Although he seems to be pushing the usual tosh, it seemed to concentrate on reiki (which appears to be waving your hands above someone's body) and although irritating, I didn't do anything abou...

There's been a lot of stuff about stag beetles popping up in my FB feed the past few months. I didn't even know they were in the UK!
