Wimbledon

Wimbledon tennis is to be played this Sunday for the first time for quite a few years. The excuse is the awful wet weather which no god has any say over. About time!. Why should our lives be governed by this stuff.

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Bizarre. Does the bible somewhere say, "Thou shalt not play the racket ball on my day of rest, except for the last day of play"?

More prosaic than that, it gives the groundsmen time to repair the courts, and a day off to the rest of the staff.
