But I think excellent cinematography or videopgrahy.

Interesting. On the FB thread where this was shared, there were several attempts to explain it, but it certainly isn't at all clear. But the video clearly made the claim that it reduced the temperature by 5 degrees, which wouldn't happen if it was just wind chill.Tetenterre wrote:Interesting and ingenious, but the explanation of how it works is wrong. When a gas is compressed adiabatically, its temperature rises, not falls. When you purse your lips and blow on your hand, it feels cooler mostly because the increased velocity of air causes localised "wind chill".
I haven't. Any good?Alan H wrote:I wasn't aware Richard had done that. Will watch later. Have you read his book, The Real Secrets of Alternative Medicine?
Getting through it. It's self-published and could do with some professional editing, it's occasionally repetitive, but it's a useful reference book for the history of all sorts of altmed nonsense. I can only admire his perseverance to put it all together and the amount of work required!Tetenterre wrote:I haven't. Any good?Alan H wrote:I wasn't aware Richard had done that. Will watch later.
