Latest post of the previous page:

I just plotted the latest registration dates myself.

It seems that they were recruiting at about 66/month up until the first week of September. After that, they seem to have got a move on and be registering about 220/month, which is quite a gear shift. At this rate, the remaining 2 months of the year will see them at around 1500, assuming they don't slow down in the run-up to christmas.

More information has come out of Dept of Health after my latest FOI request.

I haven't had much of a chance to look at it in detail, but two things jump out.

First, very interesting figures in the planned income vs. actual income fields. Application fees are at less than 10% of planned levels, even after the planned values are scaled back.

Second, their marketing company have identified the hospice movement as fertile ground for a marketing campaign.

Still catching up on things, so haven't had time to read it. Are you going to blog about it?

There are three fundamental questions for anyone advocating Brexit:

1. What, precisely, are the significant and tangible benefits of leaving the EU?
2. What damage to the UK and its citizens is an acceptable price to pay for those benefits?
3. Which ruling of the ECJ is most persuasive of the need to leave its jurisdiction?

Yes, when I get some time.

Less seriously, Episode 2 of the OfQuack podcast is now complete. You can find it at http://ofquack.moteprime.org/podcasts.html, including segments on How to Spot a Skeptic, and a visit to OfQuack labs.

I rather like the OfQuack 'background' page: http://www.cnhc.org.uk/pages/index.cfm?page_id=15

The level of information they provide is positively homeopathic...

Simon's Perry has made great progress with OfQuack. Read his blog post:

Acknowledgement received, saying they are now investigating. Not exactly a speedy process, but who's in a hurry? Oh, OfQuack are, aren't they [---][/---] trying to get a less embarrassing number of quacks registered ASAP!
Did you get any followup to this? Just the other day I idly looked up the IP addresses again, and chncregister.org seems still to be in the USA.

Only marginally on-topic, I know, but Episode 4 of the OfQuack podcast is now available. You can find it at http://ofquack.moteprime.org/podcasts.html. This episode includes a tour of Buckfast hall, a reaction to the 10:23 campaign, and the latest research from OfQuack labs.
